Fill Your Home With Music
Experience your music all around your home – sounding great and at your control, without wires. The Director / Wireless-N Music Player is designed to enable your existing audio equipment or speakers to play your digital music. And, as part of the Linksys by Cisco Wireless Home Audio family, it can become part of a complete, customized full-home music experience.
The Power to Play
Connect the Director to your existing audio system and enjoy digital music in excellent quality. It’s a great way to give your Home Theater or high-end sound systems the ability to access and play your digital music library without wires. Or build a wireless system from scratch. With its built-in amplifier, the Director can drive passive speakers even your high-end speaker towers, or the Linksys by Cisco Stereo Speaker Kit (optional). It can also work with powered speakers with its Left/Right channel outputs. With its compact design and elegant styling, the Director fits and looks great in any room.
Your Music, Your Way
Enjoy complete control of your listening experience via the colorful, interface screen. Search your libraries, create playlists. If you purchase other Linksys by Cisco Wireless Home Audio components then you can control them from Director and play different music in different rooms or the same songs throughout the house in Party Mode. The Director is designed to access your music libraries stored on your networked PCs or storage devices, or millions of songs online through Rhapsody (30-day free trial included). The Director also accommodates the optional Docking Station for iPod, so you can access your playlists and tunes. You can even connect analog devices like turntables or tape decks and enjoy your tapes and LPs throughout your home. You can even use the Director to control other Linksys by Cisco Wireless Home Audio components throughout your house. IR Remote Control included.
What is Wireless Home Audio?
It’s an integrated family of components that is designed to let you access, stream, control and enjoy your digital music via your home wireless network. Enjoy different songs in different rooms at the same time, or the same one everywhere in Party Mode – all in precise synchronization. The components are designed to work with your existing system to create a complete home-filling music experience – no drilling, no stringing wires. However you listen, you can configure a Wireless Home Audio set-up ideally suited to your space, tastes, and existing audio equipment.
Awesome Sound All Around
Believe your ears. Breakthrough technology from the world leader in networking designed to work with your home’s wireless network to stream audio signals without clipping the highs and lows, so your music sounds just as rich, crisp and full as the original. The technology also works to synchronize all of your Wireless Home Audio devices, to help eliminate echo effects when you’re playing the same music in different locations at the same time. Your home never sounded so good.
